our christmas morning was so lovely. my phone rang at 8:15am. it was julian and milla plum calling to wish me a merry christmas and to tell me what santa brought them in florida. they were so excited! after we hung up i woke up the mister and the baby and we headed downstairs to do some exchanging of our own. gemma bird seemed to enjoy opening her gifts with a little help of course. we had so much fun. the only thing missing were those beautiful kiddos of mine. they were missed but not left out. santa left a whole heap of presents behind for them for when they get home. here are a few photos of our morning...
after we opened our gifts the little bird was pretty worn out and ready for a nap so we all crawled back into bed and slept until 1pm. haha. we LOVED sleeping in. later that afternoon we drove out to aubrey's moms house. on the way there i started feeling a bit under the weather. it was a great evening with yummy food and wine but as the hours went by the more and more sick i was feeling so we cut the night a little short and headed back home. gemma bird's first christmas was just lovely. now we're just waiting for the kiddos to come home for christmas number two. i hope your holiday was wonderful too! i am nursing a pretty bad head cold at the moment but i have a busy week ahead of me. i'm hoping it passes soon.
